The Reale Arena is a stadium awarded the Prix Versalles for Sports in 2020 for innovation and creativity, a clear reflection of the local heritage and the energy efficiency of the stadium. In addition to hosting top-level football matches, its multidisciplinary nature makes it possible to carry out different activities there.

It is one of the reference stadiums on a national and international level and the various spaces it contains make it possible to celebrate different types of events in a unique setting.

Reale Arena has a varied offer of up to 30 spaces, a gastronomic offer with identity, a multitude of ideas and careful staging to celebrate any type of event so that your guests will want to repeat.

Tabakalera

Tabakalera was a tobacco factory until 2003, and reopened its doors in 2015 as an International Centre of Contemporary Culture. Tabakalera breathes culture and its many and varied spaces are ideal to promote it.

The central courtyard, which the huge building surrounds, has an area of 620 m2 suitable for hosting any presentation or event.

The cinema is perfect for film premieres of any kind, and from its roof you can enjoy an exceptional view of the city centre.

For the organisation of meetings, Tabakalera offers Room K, with space for 20 people, and to accommodate congresses it offers Room Z, with a 2000 lumens projector and translation booths.

Convent Garden

Located in the old convent of the María Reparadora religious order (1905-2015) in the heart of the city and just a few steps away from the beach of La Concha.

The Convent of the Hermanas Reparadoras was designed by the architect Ramón Cortázar, who contributed to the design of a number of important buildings in the city, such as the tower of the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, the Bellas Artes theatre and the Kiosko del Boulevard. It has several multipurpose, flexible and versatile rooms. It has its own catering staff.

Three areas: the Crypt (an attractive underground room that maintains its original appearance), the Patio and the Rooftop.

Chillida Leku Museum

A universal sculptor born in San Sebastian, Eduardo Chillida worked in industrial furnaces to forge a career that was full of questions and that led him to win practically every award available to a sculptor. The Chillida Leku museum revolves around the 16th-century Zabalaga farmhouse remodelled by the sculptor himself, preserving its magnitude and essence.

The extensive gardens that surround it are home to a collection of 40 pieces of different shapes and sizes.

Hipodromoa

The Hipodromoa was built during the First World War, at a time when there was no horse racing in Belgium, France and other European countries due to the conflict. The sports complex was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1916.

During the first half of the 20th century it was an important meeting point in the social life of the city and today numerous fans gather at the races that take place in summer.

The Basque Culinary Center has a Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences and a Centre for Research and Innovation in Food and Gastronomy. The building is equipped with installations for holding business meetings, conventions, presentations, etc., accompanied when required by top-notch gastronomic activities: an auditorium for 200 people equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, a kitchen, waiting rooms, photography studio... for cookery demonstrations and conferences, and a multipurpose room of 140 m² for exhibitions, meetings of a business nature or otherwise, etc.…

The foyer of the Kursaal Congress Centre & Auditorium is a spectacular setting filled with light. In this space, the most striking and remarkable part of the building designed by the architect [Rafael Moneo], cocktails are served for up to 1,800 people; lunches, banquets and gala dinners are also available for a maximum of 1,500 guests.

The Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park Hall is located in the Central Building and can be used for all kinds of events (exhibitions, fairs, celebrations, etc.). It occupies an area of 605 m2 with a height of 6.5 metres and is bathed in natural light through a glass-covered surface of 560 m2.

The function rooms in the 5-star Hotel María Cristina have recently been renovated and restored to their original Belle Epoque splendour. They have also been equipped with high-tech audiovisual equipment for banquets, cocktail parties and meetings.

Miramar Palace

A spectacular palace in the style of an English “cottage” located in front of La Concha bay. The Miramar Palace was built in 1893 at the request of the Spanish royalty, who spent their summers in San Sebastian. The palace was designed by the English architect Selden Wornum and its gardens are the work of the master gardener Pierre Ducasse.

The palace stands out for its history and architecture and above all for the views from its garden and the natural viewpoint looking over the bay and Santa Clara Island. For years it was the summer residence of Queen María Cristina until the city council acquired it in 1973.

Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum

The designer and dressmaker Cristóbal Balenciaga, considered one of the most important creators in the world of haute couture, was born in 1895 in the fishing village of Getaria, 29 km from San Sebastian. The village is home to the museum that pays homage to his life, career and style.

The museum houses a permanent collection of more than 5,000 garments designed by Balenciaga and is made up of two different areas: the Aldamar building, former residence of the Marquises of Casa Torre, and the large glazed enclosure that overlooks the coast.

San Telmo Museum

Museo San Telmo

With an exceptional location in the historic centre of San Sebastian, the San Telmo Museum is housed in two adjacent buildings from different historical periods: a Dominican convent from the 16th century and a contemporary building. It is one of the few buildings that survived the city’s fire in 1813. Later, the city council bought it and turned it into museum, inaugurated in 1932. After a restoration of the old building and the architectural extension to house new cultural areas, San Telmo was reopened in 2011 as the Museum of Basque Society.

Aquarium

Aquarium

Founded in 1908, today it is one of the most modern oceanographic museums in Europe. It is home to a total of 7,000 fish of 47 different species and has a large oceanarium with a 360° tunnel. In addition to being an aquarium, it also houses an exhibition that helps explain and contextualise the maritime and marine history of Gipuzkoa and San Sebastian.

The Aquarium-Tour Route area covering 4,000 m2 on three floors and dominated by the tunnel which has a total length of 18 metres.

Victoria Eugenia Theatre

Since its inauguration in 1912 by Queen Victoria Eugenia, consort of King Alfonso XIII, it has hosted the most important cultural events of the city. It was the main stage for the International Film Festival until the year 2000 and here personalities such as Bette Davis, Lauren Bacall and Gregory Peck have received its most prestigious awards.

Capable of seating 900 people, the highlight of the main hall is its striking vault with eye-catching frescoes by the artist Ignacio Ugarte featuring his representation of the rising sun.

The stage, which has an area of 310 m2 and occupies the entire back centre of the building, is a perfect place for cocktails and gala dinners

Gu San Sebastian

Located in the beautiful and illustrious building belonging to the Royal Yacht Club of San Sebastian, a jewel of rationalist architecture which reproduces a ship moored at the dock. It was built in 1929 and has recently been declared a “Site of Cultural Interest” in the category of “Monument”.

Its spectacular glazed enclosed balcony offers the very best views over La Concha bay. The Bauhausstyle interior is the perfect place to enjoy its exquisite cocktails or its renowned catering.
