San Sebastian strengthens its position as a meetings destination and welcomes leading international researchers

The IV Sol-SKY Mag Conference

The IV Sol-SKY Mag Conference 2019 is being held from 24-28 June and will be attended by over 40 researchers and around a hundred participants, true experts from the best universities, institutes and laboratories around the world. Most notably, it will be attended by Professor Anthony Arrott and Professor Albert Fert, the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics 2007.

Sol-SkyMag 2019 is organised by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) Ikerbasque, with the collaboration of Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa and CAF. This year it is being held for the fourth time in San Sebastian, and the aim is to continue holding it here in the future.

Promoting meeting tourism is one of the core strategies of the DSS Turismoa Master Plan, which is committed to conferences of this kind, which attract talent and knowledge to the city, strengthening its global position.
