Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa and its partner companies take part in the IBTM International Conference Trade Show

 

A delegation from Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa accompanied by 8 companies will be attending the IBTM Trade Show in Barcelona from 19 to 21 November, with the support of Basquetour. They will also have a hectic schedule of meetings at this conference for professionals, which is considered one of the world’s top conferences in the business travel and conference sector.

The IBTM Trade Show is being held from 19 to 21 November in Barcelona and it is one of the world’s leading events in the meetings, incentives, business travel, conferences and events sector, with over 15,000 attendees gathering every year from 150 countries, including institutional representatives of conferences and events, convention venues, hotels, destinations, technology, business travel and service providers for events, trade visitors as well as other profiles.

Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa will also be joined at the event by 8 companies that are partners of the tourist organisation: 4 inbound travel agencies, – InBasque, Hagoos, Sagardoa Route and Basque Destination – 2 hotels, – Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra and Hotel Arima – 2 conference venues – Kursaal and FICOBA. Our partner establishments are vital in promoting tourism in the city and they will help to strengthen San Sebastian’s image as a business destination whose infrastructures, services and resources are of an outstanding quality.

San Sebastian is attending the trade show with the support of Basquetour and it will be present at the Basque Country stand. Its representatives will have a hectic schedule of meetings at the trade show with agents from across the world: Germany, the United States, Sweden, Holland, Norway, Austria, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Ukraine… At these working meetings, the attendees from Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa will be revealing to those agents all of the potential offered by the city as a meeting destination for this segment. They will be making new contacts, meeting new agents and discovering new markets.
